The Alcott Nutrition approach to formulation starts with two questions: what does the ingredient do according to established research, and does that function receive EFSA authorisation? For the botanical extracts in Ozalyn, we note traditional use. For the vitamins and minerals, we rely only on EFSA-authorised nutrient function claims.
The Botanical Layer
The four botanical extracts in Ozalyn are drawn from traditional wellness practices across four continents. They are standardised to provide consistent concentrations of their respective plant compounds in each capsule.
- Green Tea Extract (Camellia sinensis) - standardised extract, traditionally used as part of everyday wellness routines in East Asia for centuries.
- Garcinia Cambogia Extract (Garcinia gummi-gutta) - a tropical fruit widely used in South and Southeast Asian culinary and wellness traditions.
- Black Pepper Extract (Piper nigrum) - used traditionally across many cultures; included in the Ozalyn formula to support the bioavailability of companion ingredients.
- Guarana Seed Extract (Paullinia cupana) - from the Amazon basin, guarana has been used traditionally in wellness contexts across South America.

- Magnesium (56 mg, 15% NRV) - contributes to normal energy-yielding metabolism and normal muscle function.
- Vitamin B6 (0.7 mg, 50% NRV) - contributes to normal energy-yielding metabolism.
- Vitamin B12 (1.25 µg, 50% NRV) - contributes to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue.
- Zinc (5 mg, 50% NRV) - contributes to normal carbohydrate metabolism and the maintenance of normal skin.
- Chromium (20 µg, 50% NRV) - contributes to normal macronutrient metabolism.
